And welcome to Dimitri’s Mediterranean Grill! Born in Athens, Greece, Dimitrios Lolis came to the United States in 1976 where he fine-tuned his
skills as a chef working in upscale hotels and fine dining establishments.
Now calling on over 33 years of experience in the restaurant industry, he
has opened his own restaurant in St. Charles. At Dimitris, you will find contemporary
Old World decor, a fireplace and murals of the Mediterranean
regions that help to provide a relaxed and comfortable dining experience.
Dimitri’s specializes in authentic,
Greek-style cuisine and imaginative dishes from
all over the Mediterranean region, highlighting fresh seafood, prime steaks,
chops and rotisserie meats, soups, salads and an incredible
assortment of Mediterranean appetizers and desserts - all
made from scratch from fresh ingredients delivered daily.
Offering a large and
relaxinglounge, Dimitri's full-service Taverna
specializes
in martinis, premium liquors and a wide variety of Mediterranean and
California wines; the lounge also serves up
great entertainment on
the weekends. A private room can accommodate groups of 25 to 125… or use the
entire dining room, which can accommodate up to 300 diners.

Dimitri's steaks and chops are USDA Prime served with choice of potato or vegetable
and may be encrusted with horseradish, blue cheese, creamy sautéed mushrooms
or herbed bread crumbs.
Veal and Artichokes Pan-seared sliced Provimi veal with
mushrooms, artichoke hearts and capers in a garlic butter white wine sauce
with whipped potatoes and vegetables.
Mixed Grill A tasty
combination of Greek style chicken breast, pork souvlaki, pecan honey butter
encrusted salmon and a lamb
chop.
Whitefish Filet Parisienne Pan seared and encrusted with fresh garlic butter-herb breadcrumbs
served
over braised spinach and roasted red pepper aioli sauce with whipped potatoes.
Thalasina An assortment of mussels, calamari, and shrimp steamed in
a vermouth red sauce and baby braised sweet onions served over whipped potatoes.
